Liturgical Year

Some time ago we invited Hebrew Catholics who celebrate their heritage within the context of their Catholic faith to send us a brief description of their celebrations. Below, we include the celebrations of some who responded. We hope these examples will inspire others to explore and celebrate the heritage of Israel. We are always open to the judgment of ecclesiastical authority with regard to the suitability, for use by Catholics, of the traditions and prayers presented here.

Passover Haggadot

The AHC haggadah, a work in progress, was initially put together for the celebration of Passover, in the light of Christ, by members of the AHC and their families and guests. Much of its content was taken, with permission, from the Hebrew Catholic haggadot identified with an "*" in the section below entitled: Other Hebrew Catholic Passover Haggadot.

Due to many requests, we make it available here for use in family and small group settings. Within that context, it may be freely downloaded, printed/copied, and given at no cost to those celebrating in a small group. The AHC haggadah may not be altered without permission nor may it be sold. This haggadah is a draft version, with recipes and other items to eventually be added. We welcome your thoughts regarding this haggadah and your celebration of the Seder.
